The "Mountain Jewel". The Fresa is a distinct, high-altitude variety that soaks up the intense sun of the Andes. This cultivation results in a berry that is smaller, more aromatic, and deeply flavourful than its common European cousin. It carries a potent concentration of antioxidants, Vitamin C for collagen production.
Tasting Notes
An intensely sweet and aromatic wild strawberry, with a deeper, more complex flavour and less water content than a standard European strawberry.
